This is a brief list of patients' frequently asked questions. If you have a particular question about CDS services, please contact CDS directly.

1. Why did my doctor refer me to Cardiac Disease Specialists?

Because CDS physicians and professional staff enjoy the highest reputation among cardiology specialists. And CDS offers state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic services.

2. What happens when I call for an appointment?

CDS will generally schedule non-emergency appointments within two weeks. If you have an emergency, we offer same-day service. Simply explain your situation over the phone so that we may best assist you.
On the day of your appointment, please bring referral documentation as required by your insurance carrier or managed care organization. Also, bring your insurance cards. We will file your insurance for you but we expect co-payment the day of your appointment. CDS accepts payment via cash, check and mastercard. If you are unable to pay at the time of service, please ask to see a CDS Account Manager to develop a payment plan.

3. How can I learn more about heart disease prevention?
